Are you requesting checkuser attention to this investigation?

If you have requested that a checkuser supply information to this investigation, you must:

 1. explain how you know the accounts belong to one person
 2. explain how the accounts are being used abusively
 3. explain why CheckUser evidence is needed (in most cases it isn't)
 4. support your case using diffs: Clerks and checkusers will not do so for you!
If you do not clearly and adequately explain why you suspect sockpuppetry or you fail to provide supporting evidence, the investigation may be summarily closed (and the request for CheckUser will certainly be declined). For assistance, contact an SPI clerk.

You are about to undo an edit. Please check the comparison below to verify that this is what you want to do, then publish the changes below to finish undoing the edit.

If you are undoing an edit that is not vandalism, explain the reason in the edit summary. Do not use the default message only.

There seems to be a pattern of edits attacking standards organization Accellera and related articles. All of their Accellera-related contribs were made during the first two weeks of September 2011. A breakdown shows:

*Pagetests9: Edited Accellera (diff) adding a personal attack against UVM and OVM.

*Banksupper9: Changed all ocurrences of "Accellera" to "Deaccellera UVM" in Accellera (diff), SystemVerilog (diff) and Universal Verification Methodology (diff1 diff2). It should be noted that I couldn't find any references to a name change of the company, or even to the term "Deaccellera". A couple of weeks later, (s)he added to Universal Verification Methodology (diff) a section which seems to be a rant on UVM or at least some of its users.

*Noisestand175: Added an attack on UVM/OVM to SystemVerilog (diff), Universal Verification Methodology (diff) and Open Verification Methodology (diff).

*Jokestand9: Changed "Accellera" to "Deaccellera UVM" in SystemVerilog (diff) again, while at the same time commented on UVM in the changelog.

*Papercause2342: Added a source code example complete with UVM bashing commentary to both SystemVerilog (diff) and Open Verification Methodology (diff).

Also notice the similar usernames and that all of the accounts were created during the same two weeks of September 2011, two or three days apart each.

Lastly, the socketmaster's account is the only one with contributions not mentioned above. Facugaich (talk) 00:22, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

adminnote Pagetests9 blocked 48 hours for disruptive editing and socking. I will not object for an indefinite block since this user doesn't appear to be editing constructively. Rest of the accounts blocked and tagged. <span style="font-family:Calibri;font-size:14px"><b><font color="#4682B4">Elockid</font></b></span> (<font color="#99BADD">Talk</font>) 02:39, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
