This article was originally tied to Wikipedia:WikiProject Judaism for reasons that are unclear. The refugees whom the American Aid Society was founded to assist were almost entirely catholic, a fact that was actually covered in the major congressional testimonial sessions in 1950 and 1952 referenced in the article.
