Gene Wiki - create and improve articles on all human genes in Wikipedia
- ISCB article competition - an annual Wikipedia article competition in association with the International Society for Computational Biology: entries for the 9th edition of the competition are open from 26 Aug 2019 - 15 May 2020.
- ISMB-ECCB Editathons - annual Wikipedia writing workshops at the Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology and European Conference on Computational Biology conference.
Pfam and Rfam databases - Since 2012, Pfam and Rfam have been transcluding Wikipedia pages as the descriptors for protein and RNA families.
Gene - publishing Gene Wiki Reviews, where review articles on gene families in Gene have an accompanying Wikipedia article written by the same authors.
