Where do I go for the creation of road symbols to display in {{Infobox road}}?

Namibia has A, B, C, and D roads, but the old road names "trunk road" (TR), "main road" (MR) and "district road" (DR) are still in use occasionally, on maps and as road signs. Specifically, the MR 118 Oranjemund-Rosh Pinah has no other name.

I guess nobody has created the symbols; would that be possible? See C13 road (Namibia) where I commented out the entry in the infobox, as it led to an ugly error. Thanks -- Pgallert (talk) 19:04, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Pgallert, I hope that you are well. For road signs and symbols, you need to go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Highways/Route markers. But just to pre-warn you that the wait for someone to actually read your message and create the road marker can take up to six months. Hope that answers your question! Thank you very much @Roads4117, I'll try that. --Pgallert (talk) 08:59, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

An editor added a map to the N1 (South Africa) article, meaning that there is the map in the Infobox and an additional map just after the Infobox. Now, is it necessary to have "more than one map" in an article like this, considering that the two maps are basically showing the same thing? @GeographicAccountant: I would say that the interactive map is the better option, and that should be moved into the infobox in place of the static map. That said, the highlighted line in the interactive map should be more pronounced. On most maps, that line would be red, for instance. Imzadi 1979  01:56, 11 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
