Google is proud to call Texas home to our data centers.

In June of 2019, Google officially broke ground on our $600 million data center in Midlothian, Texas. In 2023, Google announced a second $600 million Ellis County data center campus in nearby Red Oak. Our data centers employ a number of people in a variety of full-time and contractor roles, including computer technicians, engineers, and various food services, maintenance, and security roles.
