Hello 80686!

Thank you for providing images to the Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to the Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.

To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.

You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.

The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on the Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!

Thank you. 85.182.126.61 16:10, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Good night, sorry to bother you, but advised me to speak with an OTRS volunteer, so that you do not care, do the follow-up request. The request concerns the following images: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Agarra_que_%C3%A9_honesto.png and http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Vai_de_Email_a_pior.png

Hey :)

Thank you a lot for your Wikidata logo submissions. We will start the voting next week. Each logo can have a short text next to it on the voting page to explain the idea behind the logo. If you want to have that for your logo please add it to the logo's page and I'll then add it to the voting page.

Good luck! --Lydia Pintscher (WMDE) (talk) 10:16, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, I have added a small text: http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File%3AWIKIDATA-80686-RGB.svg&diff=73641921&oldid=72412273 --Manuel Schneider(bla) (+/-) 11:32, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

Hello 80686. You are receiving this message because you contributed one or more proposal(s) to the Wikidata logo contest held a few months ago. Please be aware that a new competition is being held to design a logo for the Wikimedia Foundation's newest project, Wikivoyage, a free travel guide wiki. Suggestions for designs have already begun, and will run through until about 1 November when voting will begin. The contest is described in more detail here. Feel free to enter any designs into the contest that abide by the guidelines listed at the top of the page. All the best, JamesA (talk) 08:23, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hallo Manuel!

Ist doch peinlich, was falsches hier einzustellen.

Thanks for uploading File:Caspary, Daniel (de).webm. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Hi 80686,

I am planning to work on the project titled "Tools for mass migration of legacy translated wiki content" this summer under Google Summer of Code. I have drafted a proposal for the same over the past few weeks. This project is going to help the translation adminstrators like you in a great way, as it would completely automate the tedious manual task of preparing a page for translation and then importing the translations into the Translate extension. You can check the proposal page for detailed information on how I plan to accomplish this.

As you would be an end user of this tool, it would be great if you could go through the proposal and provide feedback/suggestions. Your feedback would definitely help me improve the proposal as well help in creating an even better tool. You can do the same on the discussion page of the proposal or reply here, whichever is convenient for you. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!

P.S: I need to submit the proposal to Google by March 19, 2014.

BPositive (talk) 13:47, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

As a Google Summer of Code Intern, I have been working on the Mass Migration tools project for Wikimedia. We are now ready with a minimal working product. The tool helps translators and translation administrators import the old translations into the Translate Extension.

An instance of the same has been set up on labs. You can find some useful instructions on the main page.

Please test the tool and report bugs/suggestions using the link provided on the main page itself. You can have a look at the tracking bug to check already reported bugs.

Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers. BPositive (talk) 15:01, 14 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

--Manuel Schneider(bla) 12:33, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ist nun local abgeschaltet. Liebe grüße. --Steinsplitter (talk) 12:38, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Tut mir leid - dagegen muss ich Widerspruch einlegen. Du hast keinerlei Begründung geliefert, trotz meiner Nachfrage. --Manuel Schneider(bla) 12:43, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
