Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. heute! - any advice for Psalm 84? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:28, 12 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

--Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:44, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Nicht dass ich wüsste. LG, --Rabanus Flavus (talk) 14:55, 15 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Today - for personal reasons - Zu den heiligen Engeln. I love your image! Any chance for an interior shot or two? Could you place it/them all also in categories where I would find them, such as Kirchrode (Hannover)? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:48, 16 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

--Rabanus Flavus (talk) 17:52, 6 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

See my talk today, - it's rare that a person is pictured when a dream comes true, and that the picture is shown on the Main page on a meaningful day, - Trinitatis. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:49, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

... where you may find something familiar today - sorry about the wrong liturgical occasion, - that's what happens when you sing something March 13 and then the DYK process begins - I'll update after singing tonight. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:42, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for adding the image of Adelheid Wette - it really improves the article and it’s fascinating to see what she looked like!

happy new year
That's a great way to put what others call wrinkles, thank you! - What I came to say was thank you for Gegrüßet seist du, Königin, in German, with great sound examples and other files. When I translated, I left out much about metrics, because I don't know these terms in English, and because I would not know how to cite the facts inline. I guess it's all in the book now under "Further reading", but I would need page numbers. Could you help? - Sorry that I ask only now when it's on the the Main page (intentionally on a Marian feast day), but I was distracted by too much work in memoriam and vacation days. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:35, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello Gerda, it‘s long ago, I‘m not sure, but I think I derived the metric informations from evidence - counting syllables and accents... Your article is good enough wirhout that :) Greetings, Peter Rabanus Flavus (talk) 19:07, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
You are soo kind ;) - Today, I also learned that Yvonne Ciannella died, the soprano who impressed me in my first night at the opera, and as she died in March, sadly no Main page reverence is possible, - at least she had a good DYK, at a time when opera singers were considered interesting. I'm proud today that Christiane Hörbiger made it to that corner, and happy that we celebrate the birthday of Jean Sibelius again. - I heard an excellent Christmas concert yesterday, by Tenebrae, and a short excerpt of them singing "Deo gracias" is also linked from my talk. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:33, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Today was a day rich in music, with two new pictures, and also rich in WP:QAI contributions on the Main page: the TFA, 2 DYK and 2 RD with members as principal editors. The church pictured there (not by me, nice snow dust and tall evergreen) comes with memories, detailed on my talk. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:13, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Today, pictured, the soprano of our choral concert of the year. More in the context: User talk:Gerda Arendt#DYK for Talia Or, in case of interest. - Frohe Weihnachtszeit! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:47, 26 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Zion, auf, werde licht was made a redirect for lack of sources. Would you know where this song was covered, offline perhaps? -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:10, 15 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Gruß, --Rabanus Flavus (talk) 18:45, 21 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Today's story mentions a concert I loved to hear (DYK) and a piece I loved to sing in choir, 150 years old (OTD). - I returned to the Holy Angels and took more pics. A gentleman sitting in front of me wanted to win me for the church choir ;) - We chatted a bit (that I live too far away ...) and I understood that he was with Norbert Joachim in the final weeks. - At a private function at the church, we sang Nun bitten wir den Heiligen Geist (Luther's) and Nun danket alle Gott. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:57, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Today's story is my little contribution to Trinity Sunday, with a church named after the Trinity (which I'd have liked to see pictured, and what would be a good description of that kind of facade? "splendid" was reverted as not neutral) and a cantata Bach conducted 300 years ago for the occasion (having composed it 9 years earlier). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:54, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

The description lists Peter Gerloff, may you give a link to him and who he is, as I have found multiple people with Peter Gerloff as their name. The closest I could find was a German article of him and this. I am just adding to the Bella Ciao article and it's soundtracks, using one you uploaded. For now I will use the German Peter Gerloff until further notice. Thank you! Гай (talk) 14:28, 22 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello Nojboj, the German WP article Peter Gerloff is about me. The better external link is [1], but of course it's in German, too. Greetings, --Rabanus Flavus (talk) 15:20, 22 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
That is really cool. I appreciate it.
Would the code in the corner be sufficient, or is there anything else you might want to clarify?
Have a good day Peter. Гай (talk) 15:33, 22 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
