Autopatrolled

Sorry, unregistered users cannot be granted permissions due to technical restrictions. Please create an account in order to request user account permissions.

Please read Wikipedia:Autopatrolled before requesting or nominating another user for this right. Applicants will not be granted this right if they have not created at least 25 new articles on the English Wikipedia, excluding redirects and disambiguation pages. These articles should be free of problems requiring the attention of patrollers. Note that this right will not help you create or patrol articles.

User:GnocchiFan

GnocchiFan has made 5,000+ edits this year alone including   seven Good Articles. They make extensive use of WMF Library to improve sourcing and prose. I believe they are both an excellent editor and also communicator, evident at sensitive article topics at 1984 anti-Sikh riots and Gender and sexual minorities in the Ottoman Empire. In short, let's reduce NPP backlog by giving them auto-patrolled status. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 12:11, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also worth mentioning GnocchiFan created 84 non redirect articles. One article was deleted Sophie Ottaway 8-months ago. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 12:25, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  X's Tools is only finding 4 GAs. But regardless, done...--v/r - TP 19:24, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@TParis: I was just taking a look at this when you accepted the request, but I have my concerns here. The single source tags on Martha Bohachevsky-Chomiak and Elizabeth Neesom are valid, and Elisabeth Nilsson (lawyer) doesn't demonstrate the subject's notability very well. They have some very good-looking articles, but I feel that the basis of quality for their creations needs to be a bit higher before they're ready for the autopatrolled flag. Courtesy ping for GnocchiFan; I hope this feedback is useful for your writing in the future. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 19:36, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree – those are valid concerns. I've removed the flag. Schwede66 20:20, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really hold the same reservations that you do. There is a systematic bias against covering women in history and it's even greater outside of western media. There has been an effort to increase coverage of women and I feel these two articles are geared towards that goal. It's easy to write an internet article about a living person that recently does a thing and get it published. It only costs bits and bytes. But sources existing in the early 20th century or earlier, about women, when publishing was costlier rings stronger with regards to GNG than a single article on the internet. Overall, I'm confident this user will create encyclopedic content without significant errors. None of us are error free.--v/r - TP 20:27, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to be an experienced content creator whose creations are no longer in need of input from NPP. They don't have a clean record of their articles being kept at AfD, but the last deletion was a year and half and 60 articles ago, and looking through a random sampling of their work since then doesn't reveal any major issues. Meets minimum criteria, only one article out of many created has been deleted (in 2015). Mach61 23:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Created 55 articles, none of which were deleted, including BLPs. I believe granting the AP flag to this editor will benefit NPP reviewers by reducing the backlog. GrabUp - Talk 16:00, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per my previous request December 2023 and 1) User talk:Tom.Reding#Auto patrol?, 2) User talk:Tom.Reding#Redirect reviews, 3) User talk:Primefac#Redirect reviews.   ~ Tom.Reding (talkdgaf)  16:57, 2 October 2024 (UTC)   ~ Tom.Reding (talkdgaf)  16:57, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I saw my username on the Wikipedia database reports and found out I was eligible for the autopatrolled privilege. I've made lots of articles about Indian politicians recently and will continue to do so in the future. I'm a trusted user with lots of rights including NPP and fully familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I also have the redirect autopatrol pseudoright, and I'd like to request the autopatrolled right in order to reduce the reviewing workload of new page patrollers. Thank you, Waqar💬 20:02, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Demt1298

I have almost 25,000 edits, of which 98.9% are still live and have created 49 articles of which only one has been deleted, and that was a naming error on my part. I am a member of New Page Patrol as of September 2024. I am familiar with Wikipedia guidelines for both creation and deletion of articles. I would like to request autopatrol rights. User:TheBirdsShedTears

I am requesting autopatrol rights as I have been an active contributor since my account was unblocked. During this time, I have created multiple articles that adhere to Wikipedia's content policies and guidelines. My contributions focus on history and education, and I take care to ensure thorough referencing and proper formatting in every article.

I believe autopatrol rights would help reduce the workload for patrollers, as my work consistently meets Wikipedia's standards. I would appreciate your consideration of this request. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 17:00, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
