The Department of Naval Procurement was a department within the Galactic Republic's defense procurement office that was active during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. It was tasked with obtaining starships, supplies, and new technology for the Republic Navy. The office and procurement department were placed under the supervision of the Procurement Panel of the Galactic Senate's Naval Subcommittee.[1]
